After 34 years in public education, I retired from the system, but not from the mission. Serving young people has never been just a job for me; it is a calling that continues to guide my work.

Throughout my career, I have learned that real, lasting impact happens at the intersection of relationships and results. By listening closely, collaborating intentionally, and building trust between education and industry, we create systems that truly change outcomes for young people and employers alike. I firmly believe the true product of education should be young people who are prepared to earn a high-quality wage and successfully participate in the workforce and communities in which they live.

I founded C.L.R. Strategic Solutions to bridge the gap that exists between education and industry. My work centers on designing and implementing industry-driven workforce models that go beyond inspiration, they execute. These models reduce recruitment costs, strengthen retention, shorten time-to-productivity, and align talent pipelines with real workforce demands, creating sustainable, high-quality outcomes for employers and their partners.

A cornerstone of my mission is serving young people who are uncertain about their next step, especially those who feel overlooked or unsure of their future. Through the Arkansas Construction Exposure Academy, I provide structured, hands-on industry access combined with personalized Career Action Plans. This is not exploration alone; it is pathway acceleration. Participants leave with clarity, employer connections, and a defined next step toward employment, apprenticeship, college, certification, or entrepreneurship.
